21st's new website

We are constantly stepping it up here. Be it our new signage, our Suprese shirts, our bike events, our ever evolving shop, and now... our new website. Check it out.

Blind Date at the Dairy

Last night was a lot of fun! 21st is a title sponsor for the Blind Date series and we are just tickled pink to be part of it.

Photos by: Torsten PDX cross
Junior's series leader and 21st apprentice, Rubin Fields. He kills it!

Jason Miranda's 21st window

Jason Miranda, of Overhaul Design and fellow Trusty Switchblade teammate, was the artist who did the October window design for us. I am guessing the Swedish horses is a Scandinavian shout out to Nick and me (Amanda). Hi Five!

21st Ave Bicycles is a proud sponsor of team Trusty Switchblade.

We are sooooo prooooo

Here's the deal, we're rad. I know you probably already know that seeing as how I say it all of the time and why would I lie? I wouldn't...well, not to you. Here are the new signs Sean made for the shop.

The rumors aren't true. I DO know how to read and write... kinda.

Sean is scary... scary cool.

Another customer that just can't help from being stoked.

It is just another drizzly Portland morning at the bike shop that makes it awesome. What I thought was just another day here quickly changed when we sold a Globe Carmel 3 and the day rocketed into a new dimension. Seeing things that weren't there and smiles all around. Laughter filled the air and this day was as nice as sun pouring through the windows and lifting the mood. The weather didn't matter because everyone was totally stoked. It is all down hill from here.

Alex Bellerud's Monster Mash

Alex (we call him Alice here at the shop) showed up at the 1st of the month to put some monsters riding bikes on our windows. I know monsters are supposed to be scary, but these little guys are a little too cute to be scary... just like Alice.

Sean's window soars with the eagles

We are going to have a different artist paint the windows of the shop at the beginning of every month. Just a sweet treat for you to look forward to. The 1st window painting was done by our very own, Sean Light. He loves freedom.

COGazine

Come and get it. They're going fast.

Hole Shot

We throw bike events and our event last night was a huge success. See Jose Sandoval's photos HERE

New 21st Ave Shirts

It takes a village to make a tshirt. Kyle Von came up with the name Suprese (super easy). Sean Light designed it. Jason Miranda burned the screen. I got all the items from one person to the next. Dan Powell printed them. Good job team.

The birth of Cotton Todd

Pictured here is Rebecca and Allan. Allan bought a Vienna 2 for himself and loved it so much that he turned around and bought one for his daughter. Side note, when Kyle introduces himself to people often they think he is saying Todd. Well, when Kyle introduced himself to Allen, Allen thought he said Cotton. We combined the two for the sweetest nickname of all time, Cotton Todd.

Tasty treat

You know you are doing something right when customers bring you treat, like these vegan cupcakes from St. Cupcake.

Happy customers

Nick comes in from time to time and brings his dog, Indy, with him. Nick fell in love with the Allez and we fell in love with Indy.

Sean almost ran away with Indy.

We are 21st

Today the entire 21st crew was present so we forced a customer to take a picture of us. That's right... FORCED.

Customers with rad bikes

One of our regulars, Paul Golden, came in with his Pinarello today. He said he got it before it was cool. It's always been cool, Paul.
