I get stoked out on our customers on the daily. We have some great people that come through our door. One of our customers, Sara Sebring of Deviant Industries, made us a bunch of shirts for all of us here at the shop. We's gots da hooks.

UAR
Mitch and I raced New Belgium's Urban Assault Ride. We started dead last and placed 36 out of 143. I guess there was a test online to figure out what wave you started the race. Good scores went first and then they waited 5 minutes and then the second heat started, another five minutes and then us. Then there was Mitch and I, Thunder Mountain.

Portland Design Works photo shoot
D Pow from PDW was in this morning getting us stoked out of our minds and hi fiving us until our hands bled. The reason for his visit was to shoot some new product and used our very own Nick Sande as a model. Who said you have to be tall to be a model? Jerks, that's who. Brenton Salo did his thing on the lens and we all watched. Kinky. (that's my new Tonic bike they are using!!!)

Riding Bikes and Making Things
I get stopped on the street several times a day by concerned citizens asking me, "what the heck do you guys do with the old tires and bike parts when the customers no longer have a use for them? Do you throw it in a landfill?" The answer is: No, just because these tires and parts are not longer useful for cycling doesn't mean that they are trash. That's where Julian Jaborska come in. His company is call Rebicylist and his mission is to find old/broken tires/parts and find a new use for them such as belts or art. See more of his work HERE

Surly's luchtime delight
Sometimes it pays to be in the bike biz. Example: not only did Surly send us some decals, but they also sent us some chips and soy sauce as well. Surly is looking out for our best interests. We like that about them.
The guy with the American Eagle has nothing to do with the chips or soy sauce I just liked his shirt.
