It is another day here at the shop and we are always thinking about awesome bike component, reusing materials, and making dreams come true. This last week I made two of those come true when making the Chris King display. I was able to reuse an pedal display that we had around and the Chris King components speak for themselves. If you don't know why they are so amazing feel free to ask us or check out chrisking.com. It is all about precision in the end and having parts that will last for years to come.
The precision doesn't stop there for us either. Below are some of my favorite tools in the shop and when used correctly will build a wheel that will last too.
With the King hubs, Phil Wood spoke cutting machine, and Park Tool truing stand we can make an amazing wheelset you will be riding on and make you smile.

Rapha's Rooftop vs PDW's balcony of fire
Saturday was a beautiful day. It has been pouring rain for about a month solid and Satyurday was the first day it felt like summer. No better day for a crit. We went to Rapha's rooftop to watch the race. They had a geat view of the start/finish line.
Mad wheelies
Jeremy Dunn of Embrocation and Rapha is setting out to reach for the stars.
Wish you were here
So does Sean
I spotted Eric and D Pow from Portland Design Works across the way chillin with Murph from Showers Pass. I hung out at Rapha for the CAT 3 race and the for the CAT2,1 Pro race I went to chill with them.
Roof top a bumpin
Jeremy chasing down dude out front
Dougy Fresh
By the end of
I had a dollar on yellow guy. He ended up winning because the other guy, from team Gentle Lovers, celebrated a little too early.

In Bicycling?
I was thumbing through an issue of Bicycling magazine and I stopped when I saw team Embrocation's kit. It was an article about Rapha's Gentleman's ride. I continued to read and saw Eddy Merkin mentioned. For those in the know it's pretty funny to see the Merkins in Bicycling.

Portland Design Works
I went to PDW yesterday to rap with Dan about the next BLAM event. He's being totally sweet, like usual, and helping me out with what will go down in history as the most amazing bike event of our time. He showed me some new merch that is guaranteed to blow minds.
I love bridges.
My dad used to have this album and would tell me not to listen to it so of course I did anyway. 1st track, Smokescreen. So good.
Elsa
Sam Elliot is their cooler.
D Pow
I flipped when I saw this. It's the packaging for their new chain cleaner. That bike pictured is my Tonic. YES!!
