Welcoming the Rain

This fall has been amazing. I hope everyone had a chance to get out and ride in the great weather.
Atlin and I finished up our first season of Cyclocross, if you haven't been out to a race and you don't have time for another hobby, heed this warning, DO NOT GO TO A CYCLOCROSS RACE! You will get hooked. If you need to see what I am talking about, these guys seem to do it the best http://pdxcross.com/. This is an addiction that isn't going away.

Also this could be really fun

If track racing is hipster NASCAR, then this represents those two guys duking it out behind the laundromat while Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) is coming to terms with his injury and need to race in the movie "Days of Thunder." Freewheel and no brakes.

So I have to tell you about some other awesome things we have going in the store.
This is a Surly Long Haul Trucker we built as the perfect commuter.

Single ring in the front. Check out the chainguide.

Nine speeds in the back. Portlands relatively flat so this is going to get you where you need to go.

This bike comes with a Shimano Dyno Hub and Lighting system. The wheels are built with Mavic 719's super duty touring rims. If you are looking for a functional commuter with low maintenance then give this bike a try. $1250.00 if you are interested

Heard of Brooks saddles? Well we happened to get our little mitts on one very special edition.

This green Swallow is number #30 out of 100 produced, $265.00 and its yours

Check out all that nice British Leather. Rob Halford would be proud!
